This model has an “open-cell” interior: Open-cell or coated socks provide better insulation and are more elastic, but they can only be put on using a water and a soap. You can check out models with fabric lining using this link:

Semi-dry socks Scorpena J are made from highly durable, soft and eco-friendly Sheico neoprene coated with elastane on the outside and Glideskin inside.
The upper part features a smoothskin double cuff designed to prevent water from entering the socks (wetsuit should be between the cuffs).
The sole is additionally reinforced from the outside with supratex.
All parts are glued with the new water-based neoprene glue without the smell (no chemical solvent is used).
