This structural feature also allows the mask to be folded very flat if needed, making it easy to stow, for example, in a bag pocket. An important feature is that to loosen the strap tension in this mask, it’s sufficient to press the large buttons on the sides of the buckle, a task easily done even by touch and with thick gloves!
